What this checks
- Follows every redirect, so a shortener cannot hide the final destination from you.
- Asks Google Safe Browsing and open threat feeds whether any address in the chain is already known for phishing or malware.
- Looks for the tricks that do not need a threat list: lookalike domains, credentials hidden before the host name, punycode, bare IP addresses, direct executable downloads.
- Confirms the final page actually answers, because a printed code that leads to an error is its own kind of failure.
